The 2020 Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas Symposiums have gone virtual. Like the in-person events, this monthly series will provide attendees the opportunity to learn from the brightest minds in both industry and academia. Divided into two tracks, each is a carefully curated selection of sessions covering the most pivotal advancements in research and technology, and exploring the latest trends and insights into the future of textile-related industries. Attendees can follow the Technical Textiles Track for an in-depth look at textile engineering and innovation, the Sewn Products Track for new solutions and technologies in manufacturing, or get the best of both worlds and choose sessions from both.
Sewn Products Track
The Sewn Products Track will launch October 7, 2020, with a special, two-part session on the future of manufacturing. The first session, The Factory of the Future, will address the evolution of technology in sewn products manufacturing, followed by The Workforce of the Future, a discussion addressing the importance of human capital in a technology heavy supply chain.

Technical Textiles Track
The first session of the Technical Textiles Track, which is supported in part by Georgia Tech’s School of Materials Science and Engineering, will be October 8, 2020. The session will represent a unique opportunity to gather together experts from academia and industry working on textiles with self-powering capabilities.
