Located in Newark, New Jersey, our story began over 90 years ago with the Gambert family’s dedication to creating the perfect shirt.  That passion for precision and detail has been passed down through generations, resulting in a made-to-measure program that is second to none. We’ve had the privilege of serving discerning men and women across the country, delivering garments that reflect our unwavering commitment to American heritage and craftsmanship.

About Mitch Gambert 

Today, the spirit of Made in the USA is captured through Mitch Gambert, owner and CEO. Mitch is deeply committed to both the art of shirt-making and the broader business community. With over 30 years of design and production experience, including creative direction and business development, he leads Gambert Manufacturing with a passion for quality and innovation. Beyond the workshop, Mitch actively engages with the industry, lecturing on Supply Chain Logistics at Rutgers School of Business and collaborating with FIT and NYU Stern. His past leadership as President of the CTDA (2016-2018) further demonstrates his commitment to fostering growth and collaboration amongst industry leaders. Gambert is a member of ACT (American Circular Textiles) and a supporter of sustainability and circularity.
