​Schedule at a Glance

All the details are on the agenda, but here are the highlights:
 

• Wednesday:

  • The conference kicks off with a reception on the Hotel Valencia Terrace from 6-7:30 p.m. We encourage you to make dinner plans with your new conference connections afterward!
     

• Thursday: 

  • *All of the conference sessions will be on the Lobby Level (2nd Floor) of the hotel.*

  • Breakfast will be served in the Rotunda (the circular part of the lobby past the bar) beginning at 8 a.m.

    • Attendees have the option to eat and network there, or take their plates into the Verona Ballroom for the Women's Leadership Breakfast. ​

  • The educational sessions will begin at 9 a.m. in the Verona Ballroom (to your right if you are looking at the front desk) and end at 5:30 p.m.

  • Our Thursday evening reception & dinner will take place at Double Standard (one block from the hotel) 6:30-8:30 p.m.

    • Please wear whatever puts you in the best mood to network and make friends.

    • Check with the SPESA team for after-party options!

• Friday:

  • Breakfast in the Rotunda at 8:15 a.m.

  • Educational sessions begin in the Verona Ballroom at 9:00 a.m.

  • The bus for the factory tours will depart the hotel at 12:00 p.m. and return around 3:30 p.m.

    • Note: We will have some snacks and water on the bus, but you may want to grab a quick lunch beforehand.

    • For those of you attending the tours on Friday, please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes.

This conference is meant to encourage conversation, and that means welcoming diverse and differing opinions. All SPESA event attendees are required to comply with SPESA's event terms and code of conduct, which basically boils down to: be nice to each other!
