Press Release

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Elevate Textiles, a global provider of advanced, high-quality products and mission-critical textile solutions, has released its 2026 sustainability report. Elevate and its brands — American & Efird (A&E), Burlington Industries, Cone Denim, Gütermann and Safety Components — share updates on sustainability commitments, progress toward goals and key collaborations.

In the annual report, Elevate outlines actions guided by its Ten Threads of Sustainability, an internal program that shapes decision-making and supports goals while increasing transparency and traceability across its programs. The report also highlights participation and leadership in industry collaborations and alignment with the U.N. Global Compact’s Ten Principles, including actions that support U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.

“We are proud to share that we achieved Elevate’s 2025 sustainability targets — most notably for greenhouse gas and water reductions — and we are now focused on meeting our 2030 targets,” said Jimmy Summers, Elevate’s chief sustainability officer. “The theme of this year’s report is ‘Quiet Progress, Lasting Impact’ and reflects the ongoing work we do to strengthen our practices and drive meaningful impact within our company, our industry and the world around us. We are on track toward our 2030 Science Based Targets initiative greenhouse gas goals and will continue working to decarbonize as much as possible.”

The 2026 sustainability report highlights 2025 achievements across Elevate and its brands, including the company’s lowest employee injury rate on record, official Science Based Targets initiative validation for 2050 net-zero emissions targets and revalidation of 2030 emissions targets, meeting 2025 targets for greenhouse gas and water reductions from a 2019 baseline, and implementation of two rooftop solar projects and one zero liquid discharge facility.

“I am proud of the work across Elevate and our teams’ commitment to responsible product development, manufacturing and delivery,” said Jeffrey P. Pritchett, Elevate’s chief executive officer and a member of the board. “Sustainability is at the core of Elevate’s values, and our achievements demonstrate who we are as a company and the strength of our teams globally. Our brands are committed to sustainable practices from development to delivery of high-quality textile products.”
