I’d like to invite you to join the FutureTEX Virtual Town Hall on October 8, 2026, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. to learn more about the Textiles Future Institute, its vision for the industry, and opportunities for collaboration and engagement.

FutureTEX is bringing together industry, education, research, government, and other partners with a shared focus on advancing innovation, technology, workforce development, and economic opportunity across the textile sector.

SPESA has been proud to support the development of FutureTEX, including providing a letter of support for the initiative. We believe efforts like this can create important opportunities to connect the expertise of our industry with research, education, workforce development, and new technologies — and ultimately help strengthen textile and sewn products manufacturing across the Americas.

During the Town Hall, Dr. John Hauser, CEO and Inaugural Executive Director of FutureTEX, will share more about the Institute’s vision, goals, and areas of focus, as well as ways the industry can get involved.
