PFAFF INDUSTRIAL & KSL at Texprocess 2024 in Frankfurt

Press Release

With the slogan "Innovative sustainable joining", PFAFF INDUSTRIAL & KSL will be exhibiting at this year's TEXPROCESS in Frankfurt, the international meeting place for the textile and leather processing industry. At the DA GROUP booth in hall 9.0 (stand no. B22, B26, B30, C11), PFAFF INDUSTRIAL & KSL, together with Dürkopp Adler and Sonotronic, will be presenting innovative and high-performance solutions for the areas: "Garment, Industrial, CNC and Welding".

In the garment section, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL will be showing quality- enhancing solutions for the production of high-quality jackets (PFAFF 3827, PFAFF 3822, PFAFF 3704). With PFAFF SSD, a process reliable skip stitch detection system for double chainstitch machines will be presented at the trade fair for the first time. Areas of application are closing or topstitching seams in garment or airbag productions - industries in which a complex, optical quality inspection of the seam (stitch pattern 401) is necessary. The world's best automatic pocket setter, the PFAFF 3688, will be presented in Frankfurt with an innovative fullness function and the automatic bartack reinforcement - features that enable the high-quality processing of delicate stretch fabrics or even heavily used pockets.

In the medium-heavy range, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL will show various solutions for seams in the visible and non-visible area. The flatbed machine POWERLINE 2545 and the electronic post-bed machine PFAFF 1591 will be presented in Frankfurt with a new, robust and reliable short thread trimmer. It cuts threads with a remaining thread length of 5 mm. No manual re-cutting is necessary. In addition, the products are equipped with a new device for a neat seam start.

For double-needle decorative seams on large, bulky and voluminous parts (leather, technical applications, dashboards), PFAFF INDUSTRIAL will present the PFAFF 5696 as a long-arm version with a narrow post of 25 mm. The machine guarantees high seam quality and stitch reliability even with thick threads. Mirrored hooks ensure perfectly parallel seams for all topstitching work (a sawtooth look is avoided). In addition, the machine has an electronically controlled thread tension that automatically adjusts to the material thickness.

CNC technology is one of the core competences of PFAFF INDUSTRIAL & KSL. In Frankfurt, the company present CNC solutions with a sewing range from 500 x 400 to 1,500 x 1,000 mm. Highlight is a KL 311 with a 360° rotating sewing head and the innovative AI-based ONLINE VISION SYSTEM for guided sewing. It is used for topstitching of decorative seam designs on fully and partially perforated leather and fabric with visually recognizable patterns. The innovation - the AI ONLINE VISION SYSTEM controls and optimizes the seam appearance between the perforation even before the stitch is made. In REAL TIME and STITCH BY STITCH!

Position tolerances of the perforation are detected and corrected immediately. Operator influences are minimized and operator burdens are reduced. Maximum quality results can thus be achieved. Waste is permanently minimized. This saves time and money and makes an important contribution to sustainability. Revolutionary!

With the Crosswelder PFAFF 8420 (hot-wedge version), PFAFF INDUSTRIAL is presenting an absolute world first. Welding in a new size dimension. This new generation in portal design works with two synchronized moving heads (currently 3 m processing length). It combines flexibility, user-friendliness and maximum process reliability in a unique way. Areas of application are tarpaulins, sun protection, advertising banners and many other technical textiles. The modular concept also allows the machine to be equipped with hot-air technology.

The PFAFF 8303ix is more than just a facelift of the market performer PFAFF 8303i. Many innovations in detail, such as the new tape cutting and guiding concept, characterize the new machine. Specifically, the new tape guiding system enables infinitely variable adjustment of tape widths from 8 - 30 mm. The 3D printed nozzle works extremely quietly and has a significantly improved efficiency compared to all existing variants on the market. As a result, it consumes less air and heating energy, which makes the machine more sustainable.

The new PFAFF 8333 tape welding machine is a solution for continuous seam sealing. Equipped with a new type of 3D axis nozzle swivelling, it is the first machine in the world, that really allows all relevant determining factors to be pre-set to certain welding programs. The changeover from one application to another can be done by just pressing a button on the touch panel. The PFAFF 8333 has an ECO- MODE. When not welding, the machine immediately reduces the energy consumption. This significantly reduces the CO2 footprint.

The PFAFF 8333 is also equipped with the new innovative tape cutter and hot air nozzle (like the 8303ix).

Last but not least, two PFAFF 8311 ultrasonic welding machines (1x standard, 1x long arm with Cut&Seal) will be showed.
