Roberto Mangual | Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Avantex

As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Avantex, Roberto Mangual brings over 25 years of technology experience, including extensive leadership in the fashion and apparel industry. Mr. Mangual currently leads Avantex’s mission to empower fashion brands and manufacturers with advanced AI-powered software solutions for manufacturing, supply chain management, and operational optimization.

Prior to leading Avantex, Mr. Mangual served as SVP and General Manager of the Americas discrete business unit at Aptean, where he led sales, service, and support teams across the region. Before joining Aptean, Mr. Mangual was CEO of Exenta, a leading enterprise software provider serving the fashion and apparel industry. During his six-year tenure as CEO of Exenta, he established an exceptional customer-first mindset and drove impressive growth for the company, culminating in Exenta’s successful acquisition by Aptean in 2021.

Mr. Mangual’s earlier career includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Exenta (formerly Simparel), where he led Professional Services and Development teams and implemented best practices that drove the organization to achieve top customer satisfaction in the market. He also previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Information Officer for leading intimate apparel manufacturer Richard Leeds International.

Mr. Mangual studied at Villanova University and holds multiple professional certifications including PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner, PMP, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, reflecting his commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement in technology leadership.
