Pack your swimsuit and sunglasses because SPESA is headed to San Juan! The 2023 SPESA Executive Conference will be held at the historic Caribe Hilton, nestled between historic Old San Juan and the beautiful Condado district.
The annual Executive Conference serves as the cornerstone of the SPESA event calendar every year. The two-day conference features a combination of different activities to provide an opportunity for attendees to both learn and engage.
And did we mention networking? SPESA’s unofficial mandate is to always provide open dialogue, open minds, and an open bar. This conference effectively balances educational sessions with more casual off-site events providing an opportunity to make both business connections and lifelong friends within the industry we all love.

Agenda
The 2023 SPESA Executive Conference will feature a combination of individual presentations and panel discussions that focus on challenges and opportunities facing the sewn products industry today, while also blending in topics specific to the region. These topics include advancing the manufacturing base in both Puerto Rico and the surrounding Latin American markets; shifting supply chains and the regionalization of the industry; sustainability and circularity.

Event Details
The conference will begin in the afternoon on Thursday, March 30, with our keynote and panel discussions, concluding with an evening networking reception at the Caribe Hilton. On Friday, March 31, we will have an early educational session and then hit the road for factory tours. We will return to the Caribe Hilton briefly before heading for our closing party at Princesa in Old San Juan. Dinner and transportation are provided for this event.
We recommend attendees plan to arrive by Thursday morning and stay through Saturday morning so that you can join in all of the week’s activities. You are also more than welcome to bring your family and extend your stay at the hotel if you are in need of a little spring break!
Spouses/partners are welcome to register at the spouse rate and attend the evening receptions. There are also lots of activities at the hotel and nearby to entertain guests during the conference sessions.

*It's spring in the Caribbean! You may notice that the nightly rate is slightly higher than the original rate from 2022. This is because March & April are peak months in San Juan. In an effort to help with the costs of rooms, SPESA will be covering all daily resort fees for guests. That's $42 per guest, per day. This will bring the nightly rate as close as possible to the original rate from 2022.
